GIVE A GIFT Help Tucson's young musicians learn jazz music and tour the world. More than 20% of TJI students needed schorlarship assistance in the 2009-2010 school year. This year we are expecting an even greater need for financial assistance. In addition, the success of TJI students in competitions across the country has lead to invitations to perform in at least 6 major European jazz festivals in June 2010. Travel costs this past year exceeded $30,000 with trips to Monterey and Los Angeles, California, New York City, and Flagstaff. TJI students have been great ambassadors for Tucson and Arizona and your financial support will help give these talented students an opportunity to study with a world-class faculty that has developed a jazz music teaching system to rival all others.
